We travel. A lot. Which means our home is empty for long periods of time. So we are super thankful for our neighbors across the street who take care of our home while we are gone. This holiday season, we want to do something special for them and what better way to say thank you than with handmade? Elmer’s makes creating a handmade holiday card easy.
I wanted this card to be made mostly by my preschooler. She loves making cards, loves craft time, and LOVES glitter. So glitter glue was essential.
Went went shopping and found some amazing Elmer’s products to use in our handmade card.
We wanted to make a simple card a preschool could help make. So we found some awesome Elmer’s products to help us with that.
Items Needed:
- Bi-fold foam board {makes a great over-sized holiday card}
- glitter glue
- X-ACTO knife {that one is for me}
- Elmer’s glue sticks
- scrapbook paper
- gel pens
- stickers
What would you make using Elmer’s crafting products this holiday season?

Such a great idea. I swear that next year we will make our own Christmas cards. Some how time got away from us this year. I love Elmer’s products. I remember making colored glue way back in the 80s by adding food coloring to regular glue and making “puffy paint” projects that way. Elmer’s has definitely come a long way.

I am just glad we don’t have to use Elmer’s glue and actual glitter to do this kind of project. I remember using glitter as a child and it got everywhere!

Love it! I am going to try this next year with my preschool class minus the exacto knife! I bet they could do the gluing, glitter, cutting part all on their own. Really beautiful!

personalized cards are better than those ready made. at least with the personalized cards you will see the time and effort was put into it and it makes it even more special
