I wrote this post last year that has had crazy staying power. It has been one of my top posts – and it was all about marriage quotes. Marriage takes a lot of work and time. No couple is perfect but staying committed and choosing to love each other is key.
My husband and I have been married over 13 years! With kids, travel, job, life…it can be difficult to find time for one another. Real intentional time to cultivate our marriage relationship is vital for us to be happy and successful. I am thankful that we have family nearby to watch the kids while we just have a date night. If we can get out once per month we are happy with that. I am looking forward to a date afternoon on Valentine’s Day.

Maybe it is my age-but I am kind of suspicious of apps and privacy–I do agree that couples should have date nights or at least time alone in order to cement their relationship. But I also believe they should have time apart to be with their friends-for example girls night out.
