We have arrived in the great state of Arkansas! We are on the border of Arkansas and Oklahoma in the city of Fort Smith. After a long travel day, with one layover in Dallas we were greeted by a local pastor and his wife with bags of food and toys for our kids. We are so blessed!
The layover was short and due to ice we arrived late. We ran through the airport in Dallas to board last on a small airplane. Boy, was it hot! Once we took off, my Little Man fell asleep the entire rest of the flight. Whew! We landed and our luggage didn’t make the transfer of flights. Thankfully, there was one more flight coming in later in the evening. {Did you miss our post about packing tips?}
My Princess has always been an amazing airplane traveler. She sits and colors until we are given the green light to use electronic equipment. Then she turns on her portable DVD player and watches a movie. When the portable DVD player’s batteries die, then we give her either an iPad or iPhone. {I don’t think she even realizes how easy her life is!}
So this flight I was so thankful to have a new DVD for her – Strawberry Shortcake Berry Friends Forever.
About:
When the very formal Berry Bitty Buggy Derby is revived, the girls are unfamiliar with the traditional behavior for the event. Blueberry starts off as the resident expert, but eventually gets so obsessed with manners she does more harm than good. In the end, the girls work together and learn the true meaning of being BFF’s or Berry Friends Forever.
I loved Strawberry Shortcake when I was young, so I am happy that my Princess enjoys watching this as well. I can trust that this form of entertainment is age appropriate and positive for my daughter to watch. This video was fun because it showed her the importance of manners but also the importance of being a friend. At 5 she is still learning how to be a good friend. {Who am I kidding? I am in my 30s and I am still learning too!} It is nice to have Strawberry Shortcake teaching such great values. We highly recommend this new DVD that is now available to purchase!
This new DVD would be perfect for your child’s Easter Basket! Any non-candy Easter basket ideas are appreciated, I know.
As we settle in to Arkasas, and as I pick up a bit of local twang, I will keep you updated on the family fun available here!
*Disclosure: I received the above DVD for review purposes. All opinions are mine.

I ussed to watch Strawberry Shorkcake when I was little! Since I’m a redhead my family thought it was a good fit, lol. My daughters like her too! This is a great series to share with them and it takes me back too!
