Disney FROZEN Tea Party

My Princess is very excited. Did you know that Disney’s FROZEN is releasing on DVD March 18th? She does – and she cannot wait to get it. In honor of the soon release of her newest favorite Disney movie, we decided to head to Walmart and purchase some FROZEN toys and fun healthy food for a FROZEN Tea Party!

#FROZENFun Tea Party

Our simple tea party menu:

  • Eggo Waffle Tea Sandwiches filled with peanut butter and honey and chocolate hazelnut butter.
  • Fruit (we used bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and mandarin oranges)
  • Soy milk

#FROZENFun Tea Party

I used a tea cup and tea pot cookie cutter to make the mini tea sandwiches. The longer you cook the Eggo Waffles in the toaster the easier it is to cut. Then I filled them with fun spreads to make small sandwiches that are perfect for a child’s tea party. My daughter loved this part of our FROZEN tea party – preparing the food is always fun for her {and me!}. I appreciate simple things that can be recreated at home. This is one of those kind of parties!

#FROZENFun Tea Party

My Princess was the host of this lovely tea party and served the food and poured the soy milk in teacups all by herself. Of course, the Little Man had to participate too. Since we purchased Kristoff at Walmart he got to sit at that chair and pretend to be him.

And yes, for some reason he put Kristoff on his head and left him there most of the tea party. Poor Kristoff! We had a great tea party with our FROZEN toy guests and healthy food. My Princess can’t wait to do it again.

Aren’t tea parties with toys the best?

→ A reminder to you all: Disney’s FROZEN will be releasing on DVD March 18th for only $14.96. You can find a coupon on specially marked packages of Eggo Waffles (24 count) for a $5 off for the FROZEN DVD! ←

The sandwiches are a really cute idea! I still remember when my girls were little and we sat and had tea parties at home. They also enjoyed having them with their grandma when they stayed with her. Boy do they ever grow fast. 🙁

Thanks, Dee. Tea parties are such fun. And, yes time is just flying by. I can’t even blink because they will be grown before I know it.

Such a cute, sweet idea! We’ve yet to watch Frozen, so we’ll be picking up a copy once it comes out.

My parents took my daughter to see it. I have yet to see it. With all the hype about it, I can’t wait to watch it with my daughter.

My kids are a little bit older, so I don’t think that I will be buying it. It would be nice to rent and watch it though.

I have friends with older children who miss this Disney stage. They’ve asked if they can come to the movies to watch it with us before…

My six year old really loved it, Tonya. We got the cups and serving things at our local Goodwill last year for a Mother’s Day tea she wanted to host. This is a fun age!

How cute! Love the little waffle sandwiches. My oldest is having a Frozen themed birthday party next weekend. We’re doing snowflake sandwiches!

This is really a great idea to spend some time with your little girl. I have never had a tea party with my daughter. We will have to try it.
