This past weekend we visited the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium for the first time. We loved it. It is the perfect size attraction for parents with small children. Fun animal enclosures, playgrounds, feeding areas, interactive exhibits, and live shows – we can’t wait to come back to this zoo in Tacoma, Washington.
Does your family like to visit zoos when you are traveling?
The weather man forecasted rain for the day so we dressed in layers. Thankfully, the weatherman was wrong! Which I am not complaining about. I was prepared fora day of warmth and sunshine with my summer top and Dove® Advanced Care deodorant.

My armpits and skin and general gets neglected as a mom to two young kids. I don’t exfoliate and moisturize often enough. So I am very thankful that Dove has a product available that not only keeps me armpits dry but smooth and soft. Two birds, one stone, right? Yay, Dove!

Up until about 5 years ago when my health started to decline my husband and I went to the zoo every year. I have never been to an aquarium but would love to go! I should be much more consistent with my skin care for sure!
(Do you have any travel plans this summer?) My husband and I went to Myrtle Beach, S.C. the first week in May for a week. The weather was perfect while we were there, we hadn’t been on a real vacation in 16 years.
That sounds like a great vacation. I cannot wait to take a vacation with my husband without the kids. {Does that sound awful of me?} LOL!
