We are alive and love each other still. That’s a success in my eyes. 32 feet is pretty small and I knew RV life wouldn’t always be easy. I am working overtime on my patience. Honestly, these kids drive me batty most days. But, we seem to have a great time if we stick to a routine. Life is always easier with kids when they are on a routine, isn’t it?
Here’s what our routine looks like:
- Breakfast
- Homeschool
- YMCA class
- Lunch
- Pool or Park
- Errands
- Quiet Time
- Dinner
- Church
- Bedtime
The hubby is working in nearby Port Orchard at a local church four nights per week. There is child care so my daughter gets to interact with two other homeschool families – 8 other kids total. She loves it. My Little Man? Not so much. He is still sticking to his 7:30 pm bedtime. Anything that messes with that is not tolerated. He let’s me know it too!
The kids are both in classes at the YMCA. Two classes each. Both have swimming lessons. The Princess chose Art as her second class and the Little Man has Beginning Sports.
This last week we bought two official age appropriate soccer balls. The kids love playing with them at a local park. My Princess is showing some amazing soccer skills. This is one big drawback to the travel lifestyle we lead. We can’t get her involved in city sports. But, we are living a good life. Honestly.
I downloaded a free episode of Little Einstiens awhile back and it is the first thing my Little Man has watched over and over. He isn’t one to watch TV for more than 5 minutes, but this episode? He can’t get enough! I am still singing the theme song…

You have WAY more patience than I.. I could do a week or two but after that my patience bubble would pop!

I am not patient but I am working on it! That’s why we stay busy. If we didn’t I would lose it. 😉
