This week I taught a lesson on Disciples at our twice a month Adventurer Club. I have about 30 kids in grades 1-4 that I teach two Tuesdays per month. The Disciples lesson also covers The Lord’s Prayer. With 30 kids, I like to have a variety of options for teaching. I prefer to set up three tables (or stations) and divide the kids evenly. We finished our Disciples Lapbook at one table. The second table featured a simple handprint prayer craft (above). This handprint craft teaches kids how to pray. If they go through each finger on the craft, their prayers will be longer and even more meaningful for them. The third table had The Lords Prayer Bible craft bracelet.

I found a great Pin from The Arkansas UMC Kidz Ministry site, An Interactive Lesson – The Lord’s Prayer. The author recommended printing the text on business cards so the kids could take them home. She did not offer a free printable, but she did offer all the text and ideas. Don’t you just love the internet? It makes Children’s Ministry so much easier. So I quickly copied and pasted text into Canva (they have a business card template there for free), added a free clipart, then pasted this image onto a full page (8 business cards). That PDF printable is below.

I love this! What a great way to bring The Lord’s Prayer alive for children and help them to really immerse themselves in the meaning of this wonderful prayer. Thank you for sharing with us at Hearth and Soul.
