We have arrived. Safely, thank the Lord.
It was not a good drive. For some reason, I was not in the mood to drive 6.5 hours and my Princess was not in the mood to sleep or watch her DVD. She just wanted to whine to us and make things difficult.
Toddlers do that sometimes, don’t they?
When we arrived I was physically and mentally exhausted. {You’d think I would be used to all this traveling by now and let it all slide off me like it was nothing.}
The home we are staying in is beautiful though. Nested high in the woods, overlooking the lake, and I feel blessed to be staying in such a beautiful place.
Because we are a bit outside of town, the house only has dial up internet. Yep! I am dealing with that again. {Remember, when I told you how much I love Live Writer, well, I am relying on it now.}
The first full day we were here, we checked out the library {which is amazing} and the recreation center {another amazing place}. We are going to work out and swim this month. Whoohoo!
This time, when we drove up here to Canada, we stocked up on food first. Food is so much more expensive here. Most of our van was full of food from Costco.
We are ready now for an exciting month of sharing God’s good news with this community as well as enjoying our family time together.
