The Fresh Bread Ministry is a simple ministry we have used when working with churches. It’s a great way for them to get to know the people surrounding the church or even to visit those who haven’t been to church in a while. This ministry has been a blessing to us, church members, and those who receive the bread.
Fresh Bread Ministry How-To
1. Bake Bread {whole wheat recipe}
2. Write a short note and include a Bible verse like John 6: 33
3. Package it nicely in a basket, bag, or fabric
3. Bring to shut-ins {those who cannot make it to church}, non-attending members, or those who have visited your church.
This is an easy ministry anyone can do, and it shows those people in your congregation that you care.
For the bread of God is the bread that came down from heaven and gives life to the world.
