We had a Bumbo floor seat with both of our children and absolutely loved it. When my Princess had hers we used to call it the “poop chair” because every single time she sat in it she would poop. I don’t know how many times we had to disinfect that little baby chair. When we had baby #2, we got our Little Man his chair at our local baby consignment store. This floor seat allows for active practice of the head and postural trunk control. It also allows the baby the pelvic stability needed to get the hands into the midline for play. The upright position in the Bumbo gives me break when I have spent a ton of time trying to burp my munchkin and my arms are just too tired to continue. The Bumbo keeps her upright after feeding and facilitates burps and prevents reflux.
