We have been having really nice weather here in Western Washington. Summer definitely has come early for us. My kids want to be outside all day long and since the sun doesn’t go down here until about 9pm – they get a lot of outdoor time. If we aren’t at our local community pool, then the kids are either on their swing set, riding the Jeep, playing with the water table or in the small toddler pool out back.
After playing outdoors most of the day, our family loves having simple snack options for the kids. Since both kids LOVE pizza, I was excited to see a new product at our local Safeway grocery store. Oh, what a great idea! I love meal kits that you can take on the go – I actually buy them in the airport sometimes so I have a better option on the plane than overpriced airline snacks. I’ll have to look out for these since I shop primarily at Safeway.
That’s a great idea, Beeb. Bringing these on the airplane for the kids (or yourself) will save A LOT of money! Plus, they are tasty (unlike some airline food). And you know exactly what’s in them. That is important to me!
My son would love to make his own pizza-it looks like it fun to make and good to eat-which makes Mama happy 🙂
Yes, my six year old thought making it was more fun than even eating it, I think. Though she did like it. It was gone pretty quickly!

I hope our local stores will start carrying these (we don’t have a Safeway store). What a great option to have for on the go this summer and even for lunchtime when school is back in session!
Oh i actually tried some of these! I dislike the lunchables because of their ‘fake’ ingredients – but saw these and decided to treat the boys to them! So great!
We did Turkey and Ham – Both were great – but the Ham was extra amazing.

We are vegetarian and the only ones my Safeway had were the Cheese Pizza so it worked very well for us to try them out. My kids wanted me to get them Friday again so I did. They are in the fridge for a “rainy day” – or when I don’t feel like cooking them lunch.
