How do you go through thousands of toys on the shelf at Brilliant Sky Toys & Books and pick the top ten? It might be a fun task but quite time consuming. I am glad I can benefit from all this hard work. The top toys have been narrowed down to ten and they’ve won the 2014 Brilliance Award. These toys winners are all {not surprisingly} low-tech. When given the chance to review our choice of Brilliance Award toy winners, I wanted to choose toy that my daughter would enjoy. She loves being creative and using her imagination. We first opened and worked on our Sew Cute Owl from My Studio Girl. I love how easy the instructions are. My daughter did a great job putting the owl face on. The existing holes and child safe needle make this felt craft so age appropriate. Honestly, I appreciated it too.
The other toy we reviewed was the Plus Plus Building set. I knew my daughter would love this set – she loves creating things; and my son would one day appreciate it as well. This building set has been on my kitchen counter all week. When my daughter sits at her stool for meals she likes to play with it. Though the instructions are appreciated, my daughter really does like making her own creations.
