My husband and I live about 1.5 miles away from my parents. Thankfully, once a week or once every two weeks, my parents take our kids so my hubby and I can have a date. We like to eat out (sans kids is so divine!), visit a local bookstore, or watch a movie when we do date night. But, in writing up this post, I realize that I’d like to do even more for our bi-monthly date nights.

What is your favorite date night activity?
One new movie, perfect for date night, is coming out February 5th. The Best of Me – a romantic drama based on the Nicholas Sparks book – is a great date night activity.
When former high school sweethearts Dawson and Amanda meet at a loved one’s funeral 20 years after tragedy separated them, their love is reignited. As they recall and relive the past, they come to a deeper understanding about the choices they’ve made. The Best of Me is a powerfully romantic story of love, hope and second chances.
The “Tears of Joy” Edition Blu-ray and DVD will include an all-new storyline and “Storybook” Alternate Ending so Amanda and Dawson finally get that second chance at love.
