Potty training is an exciting time for toddlers and it can also be a stressful time for parents. We are in the very long process of potty training out two year old. I am constantly amazed at the difference between my daughter and my son. My daughter, by this age, wanted to be a big girl and start wearing underwear. My son? He could care less about being in diapers still. Now that we’ve transitioned to training pants, he still doesn’t show much interest in going to the bathroom on our toilet.
I am excited to say that this week, we’ve made a few changes. Hopefully, these changes can generate excitement about potty training and my son will want to big a “Big Boy” and start going more freqently on his new Fisher-Price Perfect Potty Ring and Summer Little Looster Stepstool. If not, we’ll just let him keep trying. He’ll get it. After potty training one child, I am not too worried about this one.
Potty Training Must Haves
And patience — lots of love and patience. There are rewards for the kids. Apps for the parents. But honestly, kids will get it when they want to get it. Just keep helping them climb up on their potty chair and give lots of encouragement!

We are in the potty training stage as of now.I’m trying to make this fun and short as possible. The accidents are making me nuts! What’s helping me is bribing him with candy. Not very healthy but hey it’s working so far so good! 🙂
