So I am teaching again. Not homeschooling but I am teaching at a new kids club – the Adventurer Club. It’s a club for kids in grades 1-4 and I had 16 kids register. We had our first club meeting this week and it went pretty well. We start the evening off with Pledge, Law, Songs, Prayer, and Story/Devotional. We then move onto to our award classwork. The kids get awards for various topics and I started with the Listening Award. An award is basically a badge that will be sewn onto a sash that the kids will wear with their club uniform.
I’ll be honest, I was so nervous. I’ve taught my daughter but this was the first time for me teaching other children. It was intimidating. But, by the end of the night I was fine and it went pretty well. In fact, the kids didn’t want to go home – so I took that as a good sign.
I’ve kept my paperwork and items organized in binders, folders, and notebooks. Thankfully, I have two stylish Big Bag Theory all-in-one bags to tote my items in. They can hold up to 35 lbs – which I am happy about. I have a lot of stuff to tote around. But best of all? They are so fashionable. I feel much more confident with nice bags to tote around!
