We are in Lincoln, City Oregon for my husband’s work. We packed up our minivan and drove 6 hours south on I-5. It’s a little too much for our kids to travel this far, and I debated on going. Thankfully, we had snacks and movies and somehow survived.
Do your kids travel well on road trips? {My kids do better on the airplane actually.}
For the last two years, I’ve packed a small red race car backpack for Nate. It unzips, lays flat, and the inside of the back pack is actually a road for his Hot Wheels cars. It literally comes with us everywhere. (We also have a car tote and Star Wars tin from Neat-Oh! for his cars.)
This last week, I got a new, similar bag for Bella. Her bag is actually a pony playset. I saw and knew that she’d love it. For some reason, at the age of 8, she feels like she’s outgrown Barbie dolls but she still loves animals. Her bag unzips, lays flat, and looks like a pony pasture. She has two 4″ ponies for her bag. I also added two dogs with accessories in the bag too. They all came from the Everyday Princess line from Neat-Oh!

The reason I got an extra pony, Lucky the Pony, is because I knew that my son would see this new bag of fun and want to participate too. I wasn’t wrong. The first two days it arrived, they played with it together, continually. Both of these bags came with us to Oregon for our trip. The pack up well, and the smaller toys are perfect for travel. Lucky the Pony has his own blanket, bucket and apple too!

The Everyday Princess 40 Pony Playset that we reviewed is part of Neat-Oh!’s line of Everyday Princess – No Crown Required line. They’re toys devised to encourage imaginative play – and to empower young girls to design and control their own creative realm.

Also, I wanted to mention that this summer the Everyday Princess® line doll friends Emma, Sophie and Haley welcome a new neighbor — artistic Julia who arrives with a painter’s palette! And yes, the princess’ in this line are super cute too!
