I love when my kids unplug their electronic devices, or turn off the television, and play great fun and educational games. This last week, they had two new games to learn and play and they LOVED them. SmartGames offers kids problem solving puzzle games that are so unique and fun — I can’t believe we hadn’t heard of them before now.

Smart Games SmartCar 5×5
Vroom, vroom. SmartCar 5×5 is a new variation of the classic SmartCar. This game has 5 wooden blocks, simple rules, and ideal for the youngest age group in the SmartGames logic games. There are a 48 challenges in this game – 24 for ages 3 to 7 year olds and 24 for elementary schoolers 6 to 9 years old. The car is made from a sturdy plastic with smoothly spinning rubber wheels making it a great toy beyond the board puzzle board.
Of course, my son, who loves cars, gravitated right to SmartCar. He opened that 4+ book of challenges and dove right in. I am going to be putting this game in a gallon sized plastic baggie and take it on our travels. It is that fun for him. My daughter couldn’t wait to try the 7+ challenge book. Nate didn’t want to share. I like how well made the car and blocks are – this is a durable game. He can play “cars”, which is his favorite thing to do, but also put together a puzzle which helps his brain building skills.
Thankfully, we had a second SmartGames game to try out. My Isabella was feeling left out. She played and LOVED Little Red Riding Hood! Isabella really enjoys this puzzle game and has played it three times this week already.

Following the success of their other game, Three Little Piggies, SmartGames introduces this new preschool puzzle game based on a popular fairy tale. Kids can now help Little Red find the right path to Grandma’s house. But beware! The wolf will get there faster. This game comes packaged with a picture book with the original story. The game features 48 challenges.
