I don’t know about you, but I love great apps. I use apps for so many things in my life – photos, creating gifts, shopping, connecting with friends, and even for health. There really is an app for everything, which is why I am so glad to have found and able to share the Moodivator app with you all. Did you know that 2014 survey found that 70% of patients being treated for a mental health disorder say they want to use a mobile application to monitor their mental health on a daily basis?
Suffering From Depression?
Millions of people in the United States suffer from depression, with an estimated one in 15 adults (6.7%) experiencing at least one major depressive episode in any given year. The struggles and treatment of depression can be overwhelming. Many patients have unmet treatment needs. Thankfully, Pfizer has teamed up with leading psychiatrists to help complement a patient’s treatment by providing ongoing motivation in a simple, efficient, and portable way for those living with depression.

Moodivator – What is It?
The Moodivator app helps you to easily monitor your depression. If you suffer from depression, life is already difficult. But, this great app will help motivate you to set goals and as you record your moods you will be able to see patterns of behavior more clearly. The ability to document your depression is great because then you can more accurately discuss your care with your doctor.
The goals you set in the Moodivator app will hopefully become your routines. Routines that can help manage your depression. You’re not just documenting your feelings with this app, but you can also document your sleep, eating, and physical activity as well. Our whole body is connected. Self-care of the whole body is important for managing your depression. The Moodivator app will give you a customized report that you can share with your doctor. You will even find additional depression support resources in this app.
This is a free, very easy to use, private app for those suffering with depression. I love that it gives people, like me, the ability to help manage their depression in a convenient way. Plus, when an app gives you encouragement notifications along the way? Well, that’s just a wonderful thing.
