Wow! It is back to school already. My daughter and I will be starting 1st grade homeschool next week! I have the entire week’s lesson all planned out. Whew! 1st grade will be a bit more time consuming than kindergarten was that’s for sure.
With a new school year on the horizon, many parents are thinking about the math facts and writing skills their kids will be learning inside the classroom in the coming year. But back-to-school season is also a great time to reinforce the life lessons that are often taught outside the classroom. I believe lessons that teach children to be kind are so important. Kindness matters!

Aurthor is one of my favorite cartoons because he is always kind or teaching about kindness if he messes up.

These are beautiful, and so very simple, ideas.
We are HUGE “Good Luck Charlie” fans around here. We were really sad that this past season was it’s last. Thankfully we can go back and watch it via Netflix!

That’s what I love about Netflix – going back to re-watch favorite TV shows. I think we watch more TV than movies on Netflix!

Beautiful lessons for the little ones and adults alike! People are more distant and self centered these days. We need to go back to old values and teaching our little ones to be thoughtful and respectful!.
