When I was a teen, my mom was given a recipe from a friend for date balls. Before this, I had never had a date before. Dates are a little pricey, and those kind of splurges didn’t happen when I was a child.
Do you like dates? I LOVE dates, and I truly believe making these raw healthy snack bites, is just as good as almost any candy you can buy on the shelf. Honestly. Have you tried date balls yet? This is a simple recipe, you can easily omit the beetroot powder and just have chocolate coconut date balls. But the beetroot powder is what will give it that great red color.
