My princess is sick. Not too bad – low grade fever, runny nose, sneezing, and wants to cuddle a lot. She is having a hard time sleeping with her stuffy nose though. Which means mommy has a hard time sleeping too.
So yesterday I was reading the newest Parenting magazine and it says, “One thing you never thought you would do as a mother…” then it gives some answers.
Right away my answer was, “Wipe my baby’s nose with the underside of my own shirt when I was too lazy to get more tissue!”
Gross!!!! How have I become that mom?

I had to laugh at the part of wiping her nose with the underside of your shirt, I, too, have done this!!
As for some of the things that I never thought I would do before becoming a mommy, there are MANY!! But one that is fresh on my mind is the “potty dance”! When my dear children are potty training, we all do the “potty dance” while saying “….tee teed in the potty/poopied in the potty”. They love it, and makes them want to rush back in there and do it again, even when they do not need to!! 🙂
