Children’s Ministry: The Lords Prayer Bible Craft Bracelet
This week I taught a lesson on Disciples at our twice a month Adventurer Club. I have about 30 kids in grades 1-4 that I teach two Tuesdays per month. The Disciples lesson also covers The Lord's Prayer. With 30 kids, I like to have a variety of options for teaching. I prefer to set up three tables (or stations) and divide the kids evenly. We finished our Disciples Lapbook at one table. The second table featured a simple handprint prayer craft (above). This handprint craft teaches kids how to … [Read more...]

Moms, Here are Five Ways I’m Wasting Time on My Phone
They are only this young for such a short amount of time. I keep reminding myself of this. Every.single.night. Because they both have a hard time sleeping in their own beds. Both of them. When my husband is gone, there is only one of me, and two of them. I'm outnumbered! This past week, my husband was gone, and of course, they outnumbered me. I might be crazy due to sleep deprivation. That's totally a thing right? I know it is. As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you. – … [Read more...]
Make Bible Journaling More Simple with the Bible Journaling Kit
I've been a fan of Bible journaling for a little while now. I have a Journaling Bible (that I love) and Pinterest board full of ideas. I even belong to a Bible Journaling Facebook group. I just wish I had more time in my day to creatively journal in my Bible. What is Bible Journaling? Bible journaling is a way for a person to worship God through written words and artistic writing and drawing. There is no set way, or correct way for that matter, to journal through the Bible. You do not have to … [Read more...]

In 2015, Americans gave over $373 billion to charitable organizations, a 4.1 percent increase from 2014 (National Philanthropic Trust). The 2016 World Vision Gift Catalog contains more than 250 poverty-fighting gifts, ranging in price from $16 to $39,000, that improve the quality of life for struggling children and families in the U.S. and around the … [Read more...]
Get UP Faith & Family: Faith-Friendly Family Entertainment
This is a sponsored post with UP Faith & Family. All opinions are mine alone. This month, we've talked with Isabella twice about why we don't watch certain stations and television shows. She understands as well as an 8 year old can, but she admittedly feels left out when the kids in school talk about their favorite shows. I can relate to her struggle. I went through the exact issue when I was a girl. As a Christian mom, I know it can be difficult to find entertainment and … [Read more...]
