This Woodland Critters themed felt crafting kit has a peacock, raccoon and owl that children (and their moms!) can decorate. My daughter's first pick was the felt peacock. Ran out of Christmas Cards? Print out Happy New Year Cards!
Do you mail out Christmas cards? This year I ordered 50 cards, and they go pretty quickly. Today, I got a Christmas card in the mail from an old friend. It was a friend that I hadn't sent our family Christmas card to. I don't want to send our family Christmas cards now, but Happy New Year cards work great for situations like this. Decorate Your Own Edible Ornaments {not just for kids!}
This blog post is part of a paid SocialMoms and #HostessHoliday blogging program. The opinions and ideas expressed here are my own. We have had such a great holiday weekend. This is one of my husband's very few weekends off from church. (Minister's families know how that can be.) So our Thanksgiving holiday was awesome. Thursday we gave thanks to God, ate a huge feast with 30 family members, and cheered on our home team (Seahawks) for a big win. We put up our Christmas tree and … [Read more...]
She Lost Her First Tooth!
Back in mid summer we started to see two small little teeth nubs behind our daughter's bottom baby teeth. Her permanent bottom front teeth were coming in! Everyone was excited. When we told her to start wiggling her baby teeth to get them more loose, she wasn't too keen on it. She said it hurt. So for the month of August, we told her to wiggle it or we'd have to bring her to the dentist in September. She didn't wiggle it much at all. Goodness, I remember wiggling my teeth until they were … [Read more...]
Toilet Paper Roll Pumpkin Craft
My Little Man was sick the last few days. Which means, with the hubby in Tacoma for work I was stuck inside with the kids. You'd think I would have gone crazy, but we kept busy. One thing we did was some crafting. We scoured Pinterest for some ideas and I found a few examples of toilet paper Halloween crafts. I didn't want to make a "scary" toilet paper craft but thought a pumpkin toilet paper craft was a fun idea for my Princess. Step 1: Measure width and length of orange construction paper … [Read more...]
