Thank you to Nuk for sponsoring today's discussion. My Little Man is almost 11 months old. He loves eating "big boy" foods now. No more purees for him. But he still has some difficult eating certain fruits and vegetables. We love fresh produce in our home and purchase organic whenever possible. Apples and strawberries are among my 5 year old's favorite fruits but both of these fruits are still a bit hard for my Little Man to eat. So the solution? The FreshFoods Cook-n-Blend Baby Food … [Read more...]
My Baby is Standing!
Thank you Huggies® for sponsoring today's discussion. My Little Man is 10 months old this month and he learned how to pull himself up and stand. My Baby is Standing! It is so exciting to see the milestones with baby #2. I t have been different for him than my daughter. He is not trying to "walk" along furniture yet but he is standing up against things. He is also climbing up our 2 stairs in the entry way to our home. With this new mobility, I have noticed a new aversion to getting his … [Read more...]
6 Tips for Breastfeeding On the Go
We travel. A lot. I breastfeed. A lot. My Little Man is 9 months old and I am planning to breastfeed him until he is two. Here are my Tips for Breastfeeding On the Go: 1. Feed him when you can. He’s More Important Than Social Media
We are in a new baby phase right now. The hold me all day phase or I will scream phase. Which is all good and well if we didn't have a life. The hubster and I are finding that getting things done is becoming difficult. This week our Princess had a terrible stomach flu. For 2 days she couldn't hold anything down. Not even water. Our heart was breaking for her. She is such a good sick patient too, never complaining, crying or negative! So a baby phase and a stomach flu in one house has been … [Read more...]
Eye Surgery Is Not Fun {Plus a Teething Baby!}
I haven't really talked much about my eye surgery. I guess, I have not wanted to dwell on it or talk about how worried I am about it. I have blogged about my eye issues. I was dealing with a watery eye and a couple of eye infections since October. In January, I found out I had a blocked tear duct. The doctor probed my tear duct and tried to flush it out with saline and the liquid pored down my face. It was definitely blocked. I needed eye surgery - DCR for short, the long name of the surgery … [Read more...]
