While in Baton Rouge we visited the local Chuck E. Cheese. With the yucky Polar Vortex weather we were experiencing, even as far south as Baton Rouge, indoor family fun was a must. Chuck E Cheese provided such a great family fun experience for us. My daughter kept seeing the commercials on the hotel television for the RIP IT. SIP IT. Bluebonnet Swamp and Nature Center
We have been battling some cold Polar Vortex weather here in Baton Rouge. We thought that when we came here for hubby's work we'd be in the 60s and 70s every day. Wow! This winter has been crazy, hasn't it? We are taking advantage of all the sunny days and going outside. On our must see list was the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center. A Baton Rouge Park with Our Chicco Liteway Stroller
We have made it safely to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It was a rough travel day with two sick kids but I made it and stayed fairly sane in the process. You'd think we'd have this travel stuff down, but it is still hard. Every. Single. Time. {Praise the Lord for a playground at the airport in Dallas!} And thank the Lord, that our Chicco Liteway Stroller arrived in time for our trip to Louisiana. Only, 30 minutes from the hotel we are staying in is one of the coolest things we have done while traveling on the road - Global Wildlife Center. The largest totally free-roaming wildlife preserve of its kind in the country! The Global Wildlife Center in Folsom, Louisiana is home to over 4,000 exotic, endangered, and threatened animals from all over the world.
