We had a great family date night last night at the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Presents Built To Amaze! show in Everett, Washington at the Xfinity Arena. What I love about this circus show is that an hour before the show begins, guests can go to the floor for an interactive all-access pre-show. Audience members can pick up dance moves, learn circus tricks, try on costumes, walk the tight rope, and so much more! It is a fun part of the family date night experience. My husband … [Read more...]

The Impact of Multigenerational Living in My Life
This is a sponsored blog post. All opinions are 100% my own. Growing up on a Native American reservation in Western Washington was a great experience for me. Not only did I live within a mile of a very large extended family, but I also got the experience of connecting with a larger community of other Native Americans who lived in our village. We all knew each other. We said hello and waved at everyone who went by. Kids from all over the village came over to play on our swing set, … [Read more...]
7 Day Trips with Kids In and Around Seattle

Now that our kids are getting older and my son can travel in the vehicle more easily, we like to take day trips - mini staycations if you will. If we can drive to our destination and come back that night to sleep in our own beds, well that's a big plus. Does your … [Read more...]
