This last week our reservation celebrated the annual First Salmon Ceremony and Blessing of the Fleet. It is a way for us to come together with the surrounding community to celebrate the seafood we are given by the Creator and also a time for us collectively to pray for our fishermen as the salmon season begins. I have a long history of visiting the Washington State Fair in Puyallup. I've gone most years as a child and now I love bringing my own kids. This weekend, we had another girl's day out with friends. Excitedly, we went to our local arena and watched Disney On Ice: Let's Celebrate! What a fun show. We had a great time at the circus!
This past weekend I was able to take the kids to their first circus show - Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Super Circus Heroes. We all had a great time and enjoyed this fun high-energy show. We arrived an hour early to take part in the Circus Hero Training Camp. This was an all-access pre-show experience for the whole family.
